Search Engine Optimization

 

To be competitive, your site must be found by target prospects and current clients. If clients are to find your site, it must first be found by the search engines (especially Google). BuildingOnline's complete Search Engine Optimization package that includes the following steps:

 

Step 1: Keyword Phrase Selection

We'll help you choose 10 keyword phrases that are most relevant to your business, are most likely to be used by potential clients, and have the least number of competing sites. We then use the Wordtracker database to help find the most appropriate and related keyword phrases.

 

Step 2: Run Initial Report

We create WebPosition Gold reports that show your site's ranking for each of your 10 chosen keyword phrases in the major search engines.

 

This initial report will help us:

1) decide which pages / keyword phrases naturally work together

2) determine if Search Engine Optimization is necessary

3) give a bench march for progress with search engine placement

Step 3: Page Optimization

We'll edit each page of your site to ensure proper usage of your keyword phrases, optimizing the code as required. If necessary, we will work with your marketing personnel to create new content that serves the same goal.

 

Step 4: Link Building

We'll add your site to BuildingOnline's link network. Your inclusion in our network helps increase your site's ranking with the major search engines. Step 5: Site Submission

We submit your site to the major search engines and directories, as well as those exclusive to the building industry.

 

Step 6: Waiting Period

Search engines take anywhere from 2 to 6 weeks to index your site. After which, we run another report showing how your newly optimized site ranks, compared to the pre-optimization results.

 

The initial Search Engine Optimization is included for all full service clients on retainer with BuildingOnline. For clients who would like additional keywords, above the 10 included with their package, charges are as follows:

 

BuildingOnline Search Engine Optimization Fees:

$75.00 per keyword/phrase, priced in groupings of 10 keywords/phrases*.

 

*NOTE:

The first 10 keywords are included with your full service web design and Internet marketing package.

For this fee, BuildingOnline will submit and complete the above listed 6 steps one time. Your site is a living document, and your keyword search engine placement will change over time. For optimum search engine placement benefits, we recommend reviewing and re-submitting your site standing 4-6 times a year.
